Position Summary:

Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable responsibilities including processing of invoices, maintaining supplier accounts, weekly payment runs, forecasting payment schedules, customer payment applications, and maintaining customer accounts.

Essential Functions:

• Entry of supplier invoices
• Monthly review and entry of retail store rent payments
• Monthly review and entry of company credit card statements
• Maintain all retail store utility billing
• Entry of new suppliers
• Audit of expense reports
• Maintain weekly payment file with breakdown of suppliers
• Process weekly payment runs
• Forecast future payables approx. 13 weeks
• Generate weekly purchase orders for third party supplier
• Communication with suppliers regarding payment status updates or invoice issues
• Apply customer payments
• Maintain customer tax exemption certificates
• Process customer credit memos
• Monitor past due customer accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationship with external suppliers, customers and internal team

Working Conditions:

• High concentration of computer work.
• Hybrid work environment - 1 day per week in office at our Venice HQ, 4 days per week from home

Experience and Skills:

• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an accounting function, preferred
• Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Products.
• Oracle EBS experience preferred
• Clear written verbal and communication skills.
• Good time management skills.
• Possess excellent attention to detail.
• Maintain confidential information.

• Pay Rate - $21.00-$23.00 per hour
