Position Summary
Utilizes numerical control programs to generate control contour path tapes for burning and machining of metal parts on automatic machine tools by performing the following duties:

Education
Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of 5-7 year(s) related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills/Experience
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Plan and perform a wide variety of duties requiring general knowledge of company policies and procedures applicable within area of responsibilities and including their application to cases not previously covered. Requires considerable judgment to work independently toward general results, devising methods, modifying, or adapting standard procedures to meet different conditions, making decisions based on precedent and company policies.
