Terrasmart has four primary lines of business: feasibility software, ground mount racking/install, canopy racking/install and electrical balance of system (“eBOS”). The Director of Operations - eBOS, ensures we scale our eBOS business efficiently and effectively through a rapid growth cycle and, in so doing, delivers a more powerful future for U.S. renewable energy.

In this role a person will make the following major contributions as the eBOS leader at this Grand Rapids, MI site:

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Experience (an equivalent combination of education and/or experience)

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management or any related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Personnel management or related fields would be a bonus.
• Minimum of 10 years experience working in an Operations role.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Director of Operations.
• Demonstrated experience creating budgets and financial plans for large organizations.
• Demonstrated success in creating creative and practical solutions to increase employee productivity and maximize profitability.

Work Conditions

We follow a flexible work-in-office/work-remote hybrid approach for all roles where it fits the requirements, including this role. Some teams will follow a cadence of coordinated, periodic team days in the office. Also, there are one-off occasions where work-in-office is required. These decisions are made at the Platform Leaders’ discretion. We will continue to offer work-in-office/work-remote flexibility into the future, regardless of pandemic conditions.

We expect this Director of Operations - eBOS to reside within a normal-daily-driving-commute distance from Grand Rapids, Michigan for ongoing, frequent interaction with, and coaching of the Operations workforce.
