We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support a young man with an intellectual disability and seizure disorder.

As a Support Staff Professional you will provide direct care and support to this individual to ensure his safety and well-being.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the individual with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with administering medication as prescribed by a healthcare professional
• Monitor and respond to seizure activity, as needed
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as necessary
• Accompany the individual to appointments and activities outside of the home to become integrated in his community
• Assist with maintaining a clean and safe living environment
• Document daily activities and report any concerns or changes in the individual's condition to Common Law Employer

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience working with individuals with seizure disorders and intellectual developmental disabilities preferred
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive individuals to appointments or activities
• First aid and CPR certification is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
