Terramac is looking for Production Technicians at our St. Louis, MO location. The Production Technician assembles custom-built crawler units by interpreting blueprint specifications and using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, at times welding equipment and machine tools.

What the Production Technician does:

  • Maintain and operate a safe work environment.
  • Meet customer demand by custom building crawler units by interpreting specifications using blueprints and drawings.
  • Rework and repair used equipment for sale and rent.
  • Keep a safe environment by completing all jobs in a manner that complies with health, safety and environmental practices, policies, and procedures. Make sure you’re completing required documentation and keeping your work area and tools clean and in proper operation.
  • Participate in on-the-job, technical, policy, and procedural training.

What the Production Technician needs:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of mechanical, automotive, or assembly experience.
  • Ability to think independently, problem-solve, and be flexible.
  • Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual.
  • Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work 6 a.m.-2:30 p.m. with overtime as required.
  • Ability to provide your own basic hand tools.

What Helps:

  • Experience with hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, sheet metal, or HVAC systems preferred.
  • A technical school certificate in a related field a plus.
