The Work Control Lead assists in providing guidance & direction, offers interpretation & instructions to ensure that work planning is complete & compliant with governing procedures, processes & requirements. The Work Control Lead will assist the Work Control Manager as the Cognizant Manager for work package review and approval. This position is responsible to assist in helping Work Control to be effective and efficient in work planning activities.  The Work Control Lead will also mentor team members as needed to ensure a broad knowledge base is provided to all team members.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS

• Assists manager to monitor and manage monthly metrics and priorities through meetings, issues resolution, dashboards, schedule reviews, challenge meetings, walkdowns, equipment evaluations, etc.
• Assists in reviewing work requests, validation process, written work instructions, work package approval.
• Maintenance Work Package Delivery/Due Date Calendar.
• Perform a review, either continuously or periodically, of Guides and other work process documents.
• Represent Facility Work Control Manager when assigned.
• May be required to act as an On the Job Trainer/Mentor for the TerraGraphics Operations Maintenance organization personnel.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field and 8 years of work control experience, including a working knowledge of Operations activities, such as Work Control, Scheduling, Field execution of Work and Document Control.
OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years’ Work Control experience, including a working knowledge of Operations activities, such as Work Control, Scheduling, Field execution of Work and Document Control.
ORHigh School Diploma/GED and 12 years’ Work Control experience, including a working knowledge of Operations activities, such as Work Control, Scheduling, Field execution of Work and Document Control.
