Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of heavy equipment, such as dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks
- Safely and efficiently perform tasks such as excavation, grading and paving.- Follow project plans and specifications to complete assigned tasks
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to promote a safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report progress or any issues that may arise

Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment, including dump trucks, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
