TERRACARE ASSOCIATES is Hiring an Irrigation Supervisor Near Golden, CO
- Schedule, assign, and direct Irrigation Techs to ensure all services are performed according to contract specifications, on budget, according to schedule and with a high standard of quality
- Provide initial and on-going training of beginner to advanced irrigation concepts, including smart controller use
- Conduct regular on-site visits of jobs in progress to monitor quality and provide feedback to techs and clients
- Conduct walkthroughs with client and other company representative as appropriate
- Provide proactive client communication by drafting and proposing irrigation system repairs and improvements
- Perform irrigation inspections, controller adjustments, repairs, troubleshoot, and audits as needed
- Regularly evaluate Tech performance and make recommendations to Branch Manager
- Ensure safety on every project by enforcing safety training and meetings, as well as consistently monitor job sites for potential safety hazards
- Oversee timecards and time management to ensure compliance with HR protocols and record keeping requirements
- Regular, on-time attendance
- At least 3 years of commercial irrigation maintenance experience, including at least 1 year of managing techs and scheduling work
- Experience in landscape and irrigation installation of all sizes
- Ability to operate, program, and repair ALL types and brands of irrigation controllers including ET controllers and central control systems
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigations systems of all sizes and brands from the point of connection to the final distribution portal; including 2-wire systems, hydraulic, pump stations, backflow preventers, sub meters, and sub-surface irrigation
- Knowledge of electrical concepts and ability to troubleshoot electrical problems
- Ability to operate electrical troubleshooting equipment including multi-meters, locators, toners, etc.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Capability and knowledge of IT devices and internal computer programs such as applicable computer programs
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- A valid Driver's License and ability to meet Arrowhead guidelines for driver eligibility
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
