Terraboost Media is Hiring a Sr. Media Sales Account Executive - National Sales Near Oakland, CA

Sr. Media Sales Account Executive - Earn up to $300K or more with a $75,000 guaranteed base salary!

Terraboost manages a mega network of more than 100,000 wellness billboards (which dispense sanitizing wipes and sanitizer) located within premium retailers such as CVS, Walgreens, Kroger, Albertsons, Ahold, LA Fitness, shopping malls, airports and more.

The networks provide tremendous scale, hyper-targeted locations, engaged impressions, and low CPMs, and provide the account executive the opportunity to truly sell with data, to tell compelling stories through email, phone and in-person meetings.

Currently we seek highly competitive & ambitious media sales account executives who have a desire to tell compelling stories using data and reason to brands through email and phone.

We sell to top advertisers across all categories including entertainment, insurance, technology, public health, travel, education, pharma, CPG and more.

So, what will your average day look like?

1. Get potential advertisers’ attention through cleverly written e-mail, phone calls, meetings (in-person and virtual), strategic travel, and more.

2. Once you’ve captured their attention, stimulate their imagination! Set value-added, consultative sales meetings where you can gather information and at the same time demonstrate the aptitude to make recommendations that could help the clients achieve their goals.

3. Be an amazing listener so you can understand needs and have the wherewithal to quickly make suggestions and qualify along the way, so you can deliver the most meaningful proposal possible while being the client’s advocate. When meetings aren’t possible, connect through email and get clients interested in exploring ideas and reviewing opportunities in that manner. Bring up the most relevant of our selling proposition for the client you’re engaging with.

4. Work with data analysts to generate proposals that exceed client expectations as a trusted advisor. Be capable of analyzing data to come up with compelling, persuasive stories that show potential clients how they can benefit from your thoughtful recommendation(s).

5. Meaningfully follow up in a manner that shows you’re empathetic to the client, their needs, challenges, and goals. Demonstrate you want them to succeed and will be with them every step of the way.

6. Close business!!! Once closed, follow up in a professional way and add value at every step, ensuring they are happy and will repeat advertise with you. Renew the advertisers by examining results and evolving towards better solutions for the future.

7. Follow up with inbound leads from time to time. Maintain accurate pipeline and report out on a weekly basis. Be a valued member of our team and family that truly believes in what we’re doing!

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Media sales experience is great, but not required if you can demonstrate you understand our needs and have a passion to sell and win.
  • Relationships with national brands, planning agencies, or Out of Home buying agencies is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to listen and ask great questions along the way to lead a prospect through the buying journey.
  • Great qualifier to focus on specific actionable opportunities.
  • Ability to work with data to develop solutions.
  • Excellent writer, speaker, and listener.
  • Strong computer skills and high level of proficiency with CRMs, MS Office, Windows, LinkedIn, Facebook, and social media platforms.
  • Travel is not required, but if you’re willing, it would be helpful.
  • Great interpersonal and presentation skills with strong closing abilities.
  • Insatiable drive for more.

Compensation:

We offer a $75,000 guaranteed salary plus up to 10% commission (scaling up), with the ability to easily make up to $300,000 or more if you want it.
