A local grocery distribution center in Northeast Portland has multiple temp-to-hire, entry-level Warehouse Order Selector openings on their team. They're busier than ever and expanding their Day, Mid-day, Swing and Night Shift teams.
No order-picking experience is necessary—training is provided! In fact, they'll help you get your riding pallet jack certification!
This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys a physical job, an organized worksite & a fast-paced environment. In this role, you'll work independently using a voice-controlled system and a riding pallet jack to collect ordered grocery items from around the warehouse.
The facility is a cold storage environment with the temperature ranging from 40-55° to keep produce fresh—similar to the produce section of a grocery store.

Warehouse Order Selector Job Duties:
- Use electric pallet jack and voice controlled system to pull orders
- Palletize cases to prepare for shipment to local stores
Pay:
- Day and Mid-day Shifts: $20.00 per hour
- Swing and Night Shifts: $21.00 per hour
Schedule Information:
- Rotating days of the week.
- Schedules are typically 10-12 hours long and 5 days per week.
- Day Shift: starts at 8:00am
- Mid-day Shift: starts at 11:00am
- Swing Shift: starts at 2:00pm
- Night Shift: starts at 6:00pm
- Able to work in a cold storage environment with the temperature range of 40-55°
