Terra Marin School is Hiring an After School Teacher for Elementary & Preschool Near Valley, CA

We are seeking committed and passionate after-school teachers to lead enrichment activities as part of our After-School Enrichment Program (AEP). We have no more than a 10 to 1 ratio of student to teachers. As a AEP teacher, you will co-lead 10-20 youths in an after-school setting. You will be part of an innovative and creative team that impacts the community, makes the world a better place, and is part of change.
Hours of Work: Ideally 5 days but we can be flexible to as short as 3 days/week (depending on finding others to cover other days)
Must be able to communicate openly in a professional manner with students, parents, community partners, and after-school/school day staff Must be kind Must have experience working with preschool or elementary students Must possess strong classroom and behavioral management skills Ability to reliably commute to Mill Valley Passionate about learning and youth development: PK-8th grade kids Ability to work in a collaborative team environment Work with the coordinator and school site staff to strengthen the academic components of programming Support program coordinator in supervision and safety of the program Support and maintain an emotionally safe environment Executing lesson plans that support school day learning Ability to collaborate with youth to support their learning and development (youth driven curriculum)
Preferred: Commitment to a full school year, able to practice open, clear and consistent communication, commitment to participate in professional development. Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a valid medical or religious exemption.
