We are looking for a Traffic Control Technician to join the City of Charleston's Traffic & Transportation Department! In this role, you will maintain roadway signs and markings in clear and safe conditions.
Examples of Duties

• Assists in the installation and maintenance of traffic signs and roadway markings.
• Inspects existing roadway signs and markings for proper placement and repair needs.
• Maintains equipment used in the repair and installation of traffic signs and roadway markings.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related experience and/or training
