Greet all guests in a friendly and welcoming manner. Seat guests according to their reservation or walk in status. Maintain an accurate wait list as needed. Tell them the name of their server and if possible let the server know a new table is sat in their section. Also part of the host responsibilities is managing all to go orders and point of sale for our very unique market.

Skill and qualifications:

Previous hosting experience

Knowledge of Resy

Ability to accurately quote wait times

Friendly and outgoing, greeting guests

Able to work independently

Good organizational skills

Able to multitask

Strong communication skills

Duties and responsibilities:

Review reservations prior to shift. Be aware of VIPs, special requests, dietary restrictions, table time conflicts

Take reservations in person and over the phone

Manage a wait list

Manage multiple sections of the restaurant

Describe how Terlingua works, guide guests to tables

3-4 nights per week with weekend availability
