Position Overview:

XXX is seeking a skilled and licensed Building Inspector to join the team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all construction projects and structures comply with applicable building codes, standards, and regulations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of construction processes, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial structures at various stages of construction to ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and project specifications.
  • Assess the structural integrity and safety of buildings, including foundations, framing, roofing, and other critical components.
  • Stay informed about and enforce adherence to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Generate comprehensive inspection reports documenting findings, deviations, and compliance issues. Clearly communicate inspection results to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that construction sites adhere to safety protocols and regulations, contributing to a secure working environment.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee the overall quality and safety of construction projects.
  • Maintain and ensure the validity of required licenses for performing building inspections.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience as an inspector role.
  • Possession of a valid and current license for building inspection.
  • In-depth understanding of building systems, building codes, and industry regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey inspection findings and collaborate with project stakeholders.
  • Keen attention to detail to identify and address construction projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
