Registered Nurse | Staff RN

Shift: Day, Evening and Night | 8-hour or 12-hour Shifts
Status: Full Time and Part Time
Department: Nursing

Role Responsibilities:

• Initiates resident's care plan, after reviewing pre-admission assessment.
• Oversees recording of all documentation on unit including intake and output, weights, ambulation logs, etc.
• Is responsible for the overview of resident medications and treatments on assigned unit. Administers medications as needed.
• Assists with supervision of LPN's, Geriatric Technicians and Nursing Assistants on assigned unit. Provides guidance when needed.

Qualified RN candidates will have:

• A graduate of a state-approved school of nursing
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in New York State
• Able to work well with others.
• Interested in the care of geriatric residents.
• Willing to perform all duties to support Teresian House "Resident-Centered Care" concept.
• CPR certified.
• PMI certification, preferred.
