Teracom Services is Hiring an Electrical Technician Near Santa Ana, CA

Teracom Services, LLC is a certified Veteran-Owned Small Business specializing in all aspects of Telecommunication Professional Services, Outside and Inside Plant Infrastructure, Data Center Construction, and Commercial Electrical Services with an emphasis on Medical Facilities, Solar, and EV Charging Stations.

Position: Electrical Technician

Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Location: On the road

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Train/inform employees of new work methods and/or procedures, changes in safety regulations, changes in work policies, and electrical codes and standards; while ensuring subordinates are wearing and utilizing PPE
  • Knowledgeable of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations, NFPA70, and standard electrical safety practices
  • OSHA 10 certification a plus; after hire, acquiring will be required (company assisted)
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems
  • Knowledge of cutting, bending, threading, and installing electrical conduit and materials
  • Knowledge of pulling wire through electrical conduit
  • Knowledge of terminating electrical panels, circuit breakers, transformers, lighting controls, installing lighting fixtures, receptacles, and various electrical devices
  • Thorough understanding of NEC
  • Experience in commercial electrical installation and ground-up construction from start to finish
  • Ability to read electrical prints and manufacturer’s specifications
  • Ability to complete all job documentation in detail
  • Ability to show up on time to jobsites per weekly schedule
  • Reliable means of transportation to get to assigned jobsites
  • Foreman candidates must have valid driver’s license
  • 2-year apprentice through Journeyman
  • OSHA 10 (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • Willingness to travel: 100% (Preferred)
