Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team in Fairfax, VA. With a competitive salary ranging from $110,200 to $148,800 per year, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking projects and work alongside industry experts.
Position Summary:
You will play a crucial role in developing testing strategies and plans for our client's global deployments. With a deep understanding of Avaya architecture, design, and implementation, you will collaborate with cross-service teams and third-party partners to deliver innovative solutions. This role requires a top-secret clearance with full scope polygraph and onsite presence at the customer location in Fairfax, VA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Design high-quality, testable, efficient code across various programming languages. - Engineer solutions to support time-series data capture and analysis. - Research and propose solutions from 3rd party providers to enhance reliability and reduce costs. - Produce comprehensive documentation for designs, specifications, and end-users. - Support quality assurance testing and tools. - Provide application capacity and performance management support. - Integrate in-house and 3rd party components into software solutions. - Collaborate with the Security Operations Center to implement best practices. - Stay updated with technology advancements to optimize the product technology stack.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Top Secret Clearance with full scope polygraph. - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software engineering. - Experience with Avaya CM implementation and service-related work. - Technical proficiency in Avaya's product portfolio. - Knowledge of cloud services, with AWS preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
