MAINTENANCE LEVEL 1
:
Repairs machinery/mechanical equipment and performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings.
:
· Must have skill and knowledge in areas of painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, electrical work, hydraulics, lubrication systems, and machinery mechanics and computers.
· Must have knowledge of press brake and punch presses. Must be able to adjust clutches and brakes on company machinery and equipment.
· Must have welding experience.
· Must possess good communication skills including ability to complete daily work order and track inventory parts.

Work involves, but is not limited to:
· Examination of machines and equipment to diagnose sources of trouble.
· Dismantling or partially dismantling machines to perform repairs that mainly involve the use of hand tools for scraping and fitting parts.
· Replace broken or defective parts with items obtained from stock and ordering replacement parts.
· Preparing written specifications for major repairs or sending machine to the machine shop for major repairs.
· Reassembling machinery or equipment and making necessary adjustments for operation.
· Replacing electrical receptacles, switches, fixtures, wires, and motors.
· Use of plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings. Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
· Painting of structures and equipment.
· Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
· Hangs doors and/or installs door locks. Replaces broken windowpanes.
The Maintenance Level I should be able to perform any maintenance problem with very little supervision.
