Radiology Tech Student
Shift: Days, PRN, flexible scheduling hours 

Requirements:

• Current BLS from AHA or ARC 
• Current full time enrollment in an accredited college Radiology Technology program and 8 months clinical 
• Experience preferred (2^nd year student)

• High School Diploma

About the position:

• Assist in transporting and performing Imaging exams on patients, is proficient in the use of any and all equipment, PACS and RIS. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. The Student Rad Tech/Sonographer performs a wide variety of routine and less complex Radiography or Sonography procedures under the direct or indirect supervision of a credentialed Radiologic Technologist of Sonographer.
• Administer first-aid as required and assist in cases of adverse reactions to opaque media or in other emergencies. Assist physicians with procedures; administer dressings as appropriate; deliver specimens to laboratory; and monitor vital signs of patients as necessary. Operates mobile x-ray equipment in emergency room, or at patient's bedside with indirect supervision.
