POSITION PURPOSE
The Case Manager is responsible for the development, planning, coordination, and administration of functions including activities such as Utilization Review, Discharge Planning, Social Services and Resource Management, including daily review of medical records to determine appropriateness and medical necessity of admissions, continued hospital stay, and use of ancillary services.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing as evidenced by state licensure.
Diploma or transcripts required upon hire.
Experience: A minimum of two years experience in case management or related health care setting preferred.
Licenses /Certificates: Current Tennessee or Compact State registered nurse required.BLS certification preferred (AHA or Red Cross).
*This position is a full-time day shift schedule with a requirement of rotating weekends.
