Pay range $14.42 to $19.06

A Floor Tech is needed at our new nursing facility in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Tennessee State Veterans’ Home is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility dedicated to caring for Tennessee veterans and their families. Consistently ranked in the top 3% for quality care according to CMS, Tennessee State Veterans’ Home has been a leader in Nursing Home care for over 25 years.

We are currently looking for a Floor Tech who will execute the cleaning of facility floors to ensure an attractive, clean, and sanitary environment in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensures that the floors and rooms within the facility are cleaned in the proper manner.

• Follows all established safety procedures and precautions when performing housekeeping services.

• Satisfactorily sweep, mop and buff floors as assigned.

• Strip and wax floors according to schedule.

• Assists in cleaning rooms and other housekeeping duties as needed.

• Assist in the laundry, as needed.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in healthcare environmental services preferred.

• Must be able to positively interact with other staff, residents and families.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High School diploma or equivalent preferred and previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred
