Summary

The Multi Modality Tech performs diagnostic imaging and maintains ARRT registry in two or more modalities, following radiologist's protocols for evaluation and treatment by attending physician. Provides radiologist with pertinent clinical information. The Multi Modality Tech demonstrates complete working knowledge of the modalities and related equipment. The Multi Modality Tech performs routine protocols and positions patients correctly using appropriate equipment. Participates in the quality, process and performance improvement initiatives as requested. The Multi Modality Tech performs timely documentation in radiology computer systems. The Multi Modality Tech meets departmental performance expectations and Customer Service Standards of Excellence.
Qualifications
EDUCATION

• Graduate of accredited program in radiologic technology
• Associate's Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

Two (2) years experience preferred

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE/REGISTRATION

Accredited program in radiologic technology, ARRT registered and certified in the in modalities in which the employee works, Florida license, BLS certification

Responsibilities
Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program, CT/MRI registry eligible
Experience:
Required: 2 years clinical experience in more than one modality. ARRT CT/MRI registry eligible required
Preferred: ARRT CT or MRI
Certifications:
Required: ARRT (R) and documentation of CT or MRI experience, must obtain advance credential in CT or MRI within one year of hire. BLS; state license if required
