Job Description
Position Summary:
Operates CT equipment to perform a variety of imaging CT procedures as indicated by protocol. Administers intravenous injections of contrast media as indicated. Prepares room, supplies and equipment for patient and physician needs. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education:
•Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists
Licenses, Certifications:
•American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
•Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)
•Current CPR (BCLS) certification
•Certification by the Imaging Services Medical Director to inject contrast media

Responsibilities
Produces high quality images in a safe and efficient manner. Completes required exams; sends studies to reading station for radiologist review, completes all associated documentation.
Qualifications
Education:
Required: Graduate of accredited Imaging Program
Experience:
Preferred: 1-3 years
Certifications:
Required: ARRT (R) and documentation of CT training and experience; must obtain CT Registry within one year of hire; BLS; state license if required
