Tendit Group is Hiring a Traffic Control Supervisor Near Centennial, CO
- Lead and supervise a team of traffic control personnel, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Ensure all team members understand and adhere to safety protocols and traffic control procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan and organize traffic control measures for roadwork projects, construction sites, and special events.
- Coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Oversee the proper installation of traffic control devices, including cones, signs, barricades, and flagging operations.
- Ensure compliance with established traffic control plans and monitor changes in site conditions to make necessary adjustments.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure the well-being of workers and the public.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to keep the team informed and engaged in safety practices.
- Conduct regular inspections of traffic control setups to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Address any non-compliance issues promptly and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain open communication with project managers, clients, and team members to provide updates on traffic control activities.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on traffic control operations, incidents, and safety performance.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and additional education or certification in traffic control or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in traffic control operations, with a minimum of 2- 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Familiarity with local and state traffic control regulations and standards.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, effective decisions.
