We are seeking an Assistant Teacher to work at our after-school tutoring program. The Assistant Teacher will be working closely with our Lead Educator in a fun and stimulating classroom environment. This is a part-time position that involves preparing learning materials, prepping activities and assisting in the management of student behavior.

Responsibilities:

• Have a Bachelor of Arts Degree or higher.
• Be an active member of your community.
• Have a professional attitude and demeanor.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of classroom management techniques.
• Know and provide age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Help children by creating a fun, safe learning environment.
• Have a strong commitment to the community and its children.
• Have experience working with children in educational settings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.50 - $12.00 per hour
