Marketing Associate Job Description

Tender Loving Empire Records is seeking a Marketing Associate to support all administrative, marketing and distribution operations for our label. 

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in, and knowledge of, the music industry and has a strong track record demonstrating keen project management skills, specifically as it relates to creative ideation and execution of successful marketing and music distribution campaigns. 

This role requires being able to successfully guide and aid multiple, critical production timelines for various creative projects such as single, EP, album, video releases, etc. from concept to release day while adhering to set budgets and strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the Label Manager in all efforts related to delivering album, single, EP and video assets and marketing materials to all the relevant teams both internal and external, while adhering to strict deadlines.
• Act as day-to-day project lead on assigned releases, while leveraging internal and external resources to ensure projects receive the appropriate level of overall marketing support from all label departments.
• Assist in creating and executing ideas to engage DSPs for upcoming releases alongside internal marketing team and partners.
• Support the Label Manager with all music-related marketing schedules, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project delivery dates are clearly communicated, understood, executed and delivered upon.
• Provide administrative support to the Label Manager for all label activities to ensure that critical tasks are completed on a timely basis and overall objectives are met.
• Administrative duties include coordinating meetings and schedules, preparing reports, producing correspondence, performing research and data organization, and other special projects.

Qualifications:

• Obsessed with music, possesses a broad knowledge of music and well versed on upcoming and unsigned artists.
• 3-5 years of experience in music, marketing and/or project management.
• Proven ability to execute creative, highly-effective marketing strategies.
• Knowledgeable about various music tech platforms.
• Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• A willing collaborator with internal and external team members. 
• A driven individual, with the ability to inspire others on a team and move each campaign forward smartly, creatively, effectively, and assertively.
• Good proven contacts within the music industry.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure and work to a tight deadline.
• Bachelor’s Degree desired.
• Proficient at using Google Drive and Docs, Slack and other common business tools and platforms.
• Professional references (specific to the music industry) is a plus!
