Responsibilities :

The Tencent Exploration Team is dedicated to identifying, evaluating and investing in disruptive technologies that improve human life across the planet.

The team is looking for a summer intern who is currently completing a bachelor’s program in business and / or engineering.

You will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge being an integral member of the team in making key investment and strategic decisions.

You will also work closely with other Tencent teams and our portfolio companies.

What you will be doing :

• Identify and analyze emerging trends, markets, technologies and companies
• Evaluate business models and core technology differentiation of companies
• Build relationships and work closely with startups
• Surface and introduce companies that the Exploration Team should consider for investment

Requirements :

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in business and or engineering
• Deep interest in technology and venture capital
• Ability to operate and deliver independently
• Proactive, passionate and energetic
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communication and presentation skills
