1st Shift Position

Hourly Pay Range: $29 - $35

Tempur Sealy is hiring for a 1st Shift maintenance technician at our Mountain Top, PA facility. The Maintenance Technician is a multi-skilled craftsperson responsible for the installation/start-up and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical processes used in manufacturing, as well as support equipment located in the building or on the grounds-the objective being to maximize production and functional longevity and appearance of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Duties Include:

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all plant machinery, equipment, building and grounds.
  • Fabricate and install special equipment as needed.
  • Perform maintenance, administrative, production, or other duties as assigned. Perform and improve PM inspections, TPM events, and machinery knowledge database support.
  • Meet or exceed all safety required items 5S, PPE, Forktruck training, aerial lift training, LOTO, and individual awareness training.

Qualifications:

  • General knowledge and experience with chemical process systems including but not limited to pumps, valves, piping, control devices, gauges, and regulators is a plus.
  • Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot large industrial processing equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems required.
  • Must be able to work safely and have knowledge of LOTO.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of industrial experience.
  • Experience working with 480, 240 and 110v power.
  • Mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic experience
  • Arc Flash experience preferred.
  • Two-year technical degree, Vocational, or Apprenticeship Program preferred.
  • AC and DC circuit knowledge
