Cryptocurrency mining facility / data center in Grand Forks, ND is looking for Maintenance Technicians. This is a great opportunity to add information technology or computer related field to your resume.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician

• Must be able to work in a collaborative / safety conscious environment. Safety First
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule that supports client operations. Typically, between 8am to 7pm. Some overtime and on-call may be required.
• Must be able to use testing equipment such as power meters to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
• Repair or replace receptacles, switches, breakers, ballast, light fixtures, and indoor / outdoor lighting.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems to include water pumps, bathroom fixtures, flush valves and minor drain maintenance as needed.
• Inspect and maintain life safety equipment, including exit signs, emergency lighting, eye wash stations, AED’s, fire extinguishers and fire protection systems.
• As required and assigned clean equipment, restrooms, floors, walls, and landscape.
• Maintain, repair, and replace foamboard in data center areas as required and requested to support client initiatives and production.
• Cleaning of Data Center, light maintenance work
• Some outside work as well

Requirements for Maintenance Technician :

• Education : High School Diploma or approved GED
• 5 Years’ current experience demonstrating a high mechanical aptitude acquired through previous job experience or vocational schooling.
• Must have a working knowledge of the following skills : use of hand and power tools, plumbing / pipefitting, electrical work, carpentry work, blueprint reading, mathematics, and facility equipment operation.
• Experience replacing HVAC components such as compressors, coils, controls, and heat exchangers is a plus.
• Must hold a valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record, pass a criminal background check, and pass a drug screen.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable with exposure to elements such as extreme heat.
• Long pants and closed toed shoes, preferably steel-toed
• Drug Screen & Background Check

Monday-Friday, 8a-5pm, or 7a-4pm $20-22 / hr
