Our client is seeking a Bilingual Medical Receptionist for a busy medical office in south Nassau. Must be accustomed to working in a fast paced environment and have a steady work history.
Duties:
- Taking and directing incoming calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Obtaining authorizations and referrals
- Verifying Insurance
- Managing patient schedules
Requirements:
- At least 3 years as a medical receptionist/front desk
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Customer service skills
- Detail Oriented
- Strong computer skills
- Outlook
- Familiarity with medical office scheduling/patient databases
Hours:
- Mon-Fri 9-5pm
- Employee must be open to working two Sundays a month with a 9-3pm schedule
- Schedule is made a month in advance and office manager could be flexible as long as things are communicated pro-actively
Hourly Pay: $24-27/hour based on experience
