TempMee is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Harrisburg, PA

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by providing necessary tools and materials
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure they are clean and sterile
- Take and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and retracting tissues
- Take dental impressions and X-rays as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring and trimming models and fabricating temporary crowns

```Qualifications```
- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Proficiency in medical documentation and record keeping
- Familiarity with dental software systems, such as Dentrix
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with patients of all ages, including pediatric patients
- Ability to perform patient assessments and provide appropriate care
- Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus

As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking vital signs, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. We are seeking a qualified candidate who is knowledgeable in dental assisting techniques, has a strong understanding of dental anatomy, and is proficient in medical documentation. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping others achieve optimal oral health, we would love to hear from you.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
