Summary
Temple View Capital (“TVC”) is an established, growing, nationwide, direct private money mortgage lender specializing in the business purpose loan (“BPL”) residential mortgage sector. TVC seeks a Loss Mitigation Specialist with a demonstrated track record of resolving underperforming, nonperforming, and REO assets to join or existing Servicing Oversight team. In this role, the Loss Mitigation Specialist joins a team dedicated to maximizing our recovery and the most efficient timeline possible. This includes but is not limited to: retention and non-retention mortgage default resolutions, as well as effective REO asset management. The Loss Mitigation Specialist should have experience in mortgage lending, real estate, or servicing mortgages.
If you possess exceptional attention to detail, the ability to make sound and independent decisions, and the ability to self-manage an assigned pipeline, we want you on our team. You should know the principal approaches to mortgages and real estate transactions. Ideal candidates will have direct experience in the business purpose loan sector. Exceptional candidates will have experience in all three attributes of this role: mortgage lending, real estate, and mortgage servicing. You will work as part of a highly sophisticated team responsible for the performance of our existing loan portfolio and performance.

Responsibilities / Essential Job Duties
· Complete daily effective management of an assigned portfolio to ensure effective resolutions of defaulted loans and REO properties
· Determine eligible loan resolution options, communicate effectively with customers, and manage the resolution to completion
· Evaluate refinances, property sales, short sales, and deed alternatives to foreclosure
· Review current valuation information to identify requirements for maximizing recovery to the mortgage holder in non-retention resolutions
· Perform other duties as assigned
Competencies/Skills
· Ability to meet established productivity standards while maintaining high-quality efforts
· Multi-tasking proficiency to manage immediate tasks along with standard pipeline requirements
· Excellent organization and computer skills, strong working knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
· Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with other departments and customers
· Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
· Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment, reliable, and strong team player
Comfortable working under pressure to balance production timelines
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; Will also consider candidates with exceptional BPL mortgage experience
· Two to five years experience as a residential mortgage Loss Mitigation, Real Estate, and residential REO.
· Default Loan servicing experience
