The Trust Center for Early Education (TCEE) is seeking a few nurturing, creative, enthusiastic assistant teachers to join our faculty as we open two new classrooms for the 2024-2025 school year! TCEE is in the heart of Coolidge Corner in Brookline MA, easily accessible by public transportation. With an amazing teaching staff who work together each day to provide an inspiring emergent curriculum for all children, TCEE is an environment where teachers can grow, learn, and become part of a wonderful, inclusive Jewish community. From our youngest toddlers to our 5-year-olds getting ready for kindergarten, our daily focus is on relationship-building, and the growth, development, and wellbeing of each child, as well as their families.

Hours of position: 2pm or 5:30pm, Monday through Friday

Salary ranges hourly from $20 to $25, commensurate with experience and education. Salary position available with full-time hours

Job description:

Working with two co-lead teachers to care for a group of 10-12 children aged 3 - 5 years old from 2:30pm - 5:30pm Monday-Thursday and 1:40pm - 5:30pm Friday, with the option of additional hours scheduled as float teacher before the afternoon class opens. Developing meaningful connections with children, co-teachers, and families. Prior experience with preschool age children and a valid EEC teacher certification preferred. Willingness to contribute flexibly and positively, and a desire for professional growth in a supportive, inspiring teaching community required.
