Private practice pediatric dental office looking for full-time registered dental assistant. We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. You will work closely with the dentist to ensure efficient and smooth operations in the dental office.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation using electronic health record systems (Eaglesoft)
- Assist with patient assessment, including taking vital signs and updating medical records
Experience:
- 1-2 years previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft is desirable
