Temple Emanu-El Early Childhood Education Program is Hiring an Early Childhood - Assistant Teacher Near Westfield, NJ
Temple Emanu-El's Early Childhood Education Program is seeking an Assistant Teacher for our Toddler Room. Hours are 9-6 (with some days possibly 7:45-4:45) Monday-Friday with a one hour break. Must have a love for young children and enjoy working in a fast paced environment.
We offer a variety of benefits including health insurance and retirement plan (we contribute 3% of salary annually), personal time off, paid holidays
Hiring for July 15th start. Year round position.
Duties- Assist the Head Teacher in the implementation of activities
- Ensure that the children are safe and cared for at all times
- A love for young children
- Ability to work well with others in a busy environment
- Strong oral communication skills and basic computer skills
- An understanding of child development
- Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
