Tempe Collision Center is Hiring an Auto Body Paint Technician Near Tempe, AZ
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Paint Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body PaintTechnician, you will be responsible for refinishing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition.
Responsibilities:
-High quality spray application of primers, sealers, basecoats, and clearcoats
-Spraying approximately 6 (Fully Prepped) RO’s per day (2 Fasias, 1 - six panel jobs, 3 - Two to three panel jobs)
-Working closely with prep staff and others in the paint department to meet work demands as a team
-Invisible basecoat color blending
-Application of 2 and 3 stage colors along with matte finish
-Produce sprayed finishes with little or no dirt and a consistent gloss and texture matching the OEM finish
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic automotive repair environment
Experience:
- 4 year's expereince refinishing cars in an automotive collision repair environment utilizing water based refinish systems
- Must be willing to train others
- Capable of reading and comprehending automotive repair procedures
- Certificate from Vocational School in Collision Repair is preferred
