This position will be based Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding to ensure the Army's resources can make the most impact.
• Work on a financial management strategy to help the Army's tactical network succeed.
• Work with government business management professionals, schedulers, task leads, and vendors to build an actionable plan for your client to secure the funding needed to achieve their goals.
• Learn the laws, regulations, and policies that will help your client develop well-formed requirements.
• Ensure funding is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with government acquisition program leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience (6 years).
• Secret clearance required.
• 2 years of financial analysis or management experience.
• Experience with Army automated budget systems.
• Knowledge of the Army budget process, common budgetary methods, automated systems, and computer-generated products to accomplish assignments.
• Ability to assist with the preparation and coordination of financial documentation including process and documentation development, budget development, spend plans, funds transfer, support agreements purchase orders, execution reports, and other financial documentation and tracking.

• Experience in the execution of fiscal year-end close out processes and the reconciliation of Unliquidated Obligations (ULO), Negative Unliquidated Obligations (NULO), Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) with an emphasis on cancelling year-funds and fully obligating expiring funds a plus.
• Ability to prepare and process reimbursable and direct-cite Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPR), Procurement Work Directives (PWD), and Direct Charge Work Breakdown Structure elements for the purchase of services and hardware a plus.
• Ability to interpret source information and apply it to the budget a plus.
