We are seeking a skilled Wireless 5G Engineer to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge wireless 5G technology for our organization. As a wireless 5G engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our wireless network infrastructure is reliable, efficient, and secure. The candidate must have a Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance.

This position will be remote.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy wireless 5G solutions for our organization.
• Perform network planning, design, and optimization activities to ensure maximum network performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new wireless 5G technologies.
• Troubleshoot network issues and identify solutions to improve network performance.
• Maintain corporate lab environment to facilitate advanced network integration and security testing
• Design, evaluate, and detail technical solutions for proposals.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest wireless 5G technology trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI Clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 8 years of IT experience
• 3 years of experience in wireless 5G engineering and network design.
• Familiarity with 5G radios, spectrum allocation, and frequency deconfliction.
• Experience with Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) usage
• Open Radio Access Network (ORAN) integration.
• Strong understanding of wireless network protocols and standards.
• Familiarity with wireless network security protocols and best practices.
• Experience with network planning, design, and optimization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Desired Certifications (one of the following):
• 5G NR Professional (5GNR-P)
• Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
• Cisco Certified Network Associate - Wireless (CCNA-W)
