Telos Classical Academy is Hiring an Elementary Teacher Near Park, UT

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER

Telos Classical Academy is seeking self-motivated and engaging Elementary School Teachers for the 2023–2024 academic year. Telos is a classical Christian school, serving students from Kindergarten through ninth grade. As we continue to expand, course offerings will grow to include high school students. Telos combines the rigor and structure of a classical curriculum with the virtue of Christian education. Our teaching week is Monday through Thursday, with Common Arts courses on Friday. Common Arts include those subjects that are generally absent in classical education such as trade skills, outdoor education, and other recreation and technical classes.

HOURS

Full-time teachers are expected to be on-campus from 8:00am–4:00pm Monday–Thursday, and 8:30am–2:30pm on Fridays. We try to include enough preparation time in your schedule to limit necessary work outside of these hours.

· Receive feedback from administrators upon observation and effectively implement suggestions for improvement.

· Uphold Telos’ expectation of high academic achievement for all students and commitment to building citizens of impeccable character.

· Preserve excellent organizational, self-management, problem-solving and communication (written and verbal) skills.

· Wholeheartedly support the Telos mission and adhere to professional teachings and conduct.
