Job Description:
Summary:

• As a Material Coordinator specializing in Optic Glass and Cleanroom environments, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of materials related to optic glass production within a cleanroom facility.
• This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of the specific requirements associated with optic glass manufacturing and cleanroom protocols.

Material Planning and Procurement:

• Collaborate with production and planning teams to determine material requirements for optic glass manufacturing.
• Initiate and oversee the procurement of optic glass materials, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels of optic glass materials within the cleanroom facility.
• Implement efficient inventory control practices to minimize waste and ensure sufficient stock for production demands.

Cleanroom Protocol Adherence:

• Ensure strict compliance with cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures, cleanliness standards, and contamination control measures.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to cleanroom best practices among team members and external vendors.

Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain quality standards for optic glass materials.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and rectify any deviations from quality specifications.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of optic glass materials, including receipts, usage, and waste.
• Generate reports on material consumption, inventory levels, and any discrepancies for management review.

Collaboration with Suppliers:

• Foster strong relationships with optic glass suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Work closely with vendors to stay informed about industry trends, product advancements, and availability of new materials.

Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the optic glass and cleanroom material management workflow.
• Implement changes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Materials Science, Supply Chain Management, Engineering).
• Proven experience in material coordination, preferably within the optic glass manufacturing or related industry.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and practices.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
• Proficient in using inventory management and tracking systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
