As the Licensing Coordinator Manager you will play a critical role in ensuring our agents, adjusters, and business entities are properly licensed and compliant with all state and federal insurance and gaming regulations. You will lead a team of insurance professionals responsible for managing the entire licensing lifecycle, from initial application to renewal and maintenance. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a strong understanding of insurance regulations, excellent communication skills, a commitment to accuracy and efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Process and track new license applications for all lines of insurance across various states, ensuring complete and accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and manage license renewals, ensuring timely submissions and avoiding lapses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including expiration dates and renewal requirements, of all agent and producer licenses.
  • Proactively identify and address potential licensing issues.
  • Assist agents and producers with any questions or concerns regarding their onboarding and licenses.
  • Identify and manage upcoming continuing education and product training and facilitate compliance for producers and adjusters.
  • Coordinate license renewals, including filing applications, fee payments, and communication with state licensing departments.
  • Generate reports and maintain data related to licensing activity.
  • Maintain the standards identified in the licensing SOPs.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of efficient licensing processes.
  • Liaise with state insurance departments and carriers to resolve any licensing issues.
  • Research and stay informed of changing licensing requirements in all relevant jurisdictions.
  • Support a culture of professionalism, integrity and respect to team members, agents, adjusters, and internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance licensing or a related field.
  • High School diploma/GED required; some college preferred.
  • Strong understanding of insurance licensing regulations and procedures.
  • SILA-A designation preferred or will complete the required course work within 6 months of hire.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and DocuSign
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills.
  • Must pass mandatory background checks which may include pre-screenings, illegal drug tests and credit checks
