Job Description

As a key member of the Customer Success Team, the Project Manager will partner with Product leadership, clients, business analysts, and technical teams to coordinate and facilitate delivery of software products to county government clients based on contractual agreements. The Project Manager is responsible for organizing and leading internal and external stakeholders from internal kickoff to final milestone completion.

• Creating and managing the business use case
• Share client feedback and needs with product supports, sales, and QA teams as applicable
• Impart important client and product knowledge to our internal teams (incl. Product Support, Sales and QA teams)
• Improve our product performance/portfolio by providing valuable customer feedback to our Product and Development teams
• Managing changes and change requests (to Scope, Time and Budget)
• Managing the project organization
• Creating and managing project plans, including the Project Initiation Document, Project Plan, Gantt Charts and others
• Tracking and measuring project/team progress
• Managing quality
• Identifying, tracking and managing project risk
• Delivering administrative services for the project including invoices for milestones completed
• Advice and guidance on project management tools or configuration management
• Administering configuration management procedures of the Change Control Approach.
• For product implementations that require product development or data migration, support and facilitate the project schedule
• Leverage contract to define project scope and objectives from internal kick-off to customer go-live
• Partner with Product Owner to predict resources needed to reach objectives and coordinate resources in an effective and efficient manner
• Manage timeline based on scope of work and resource requirements
• Develop and manage an iterative project schedule and work plan
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Manage third parties as needed by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize Teleosoft best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
• Document processes, procedures, support resources, and client tools as needed
• Escalate barriers, risks, and opportunities for improvement to appropriate leaders in a timely manner
• Provide training to clients on the products they have purchased
• Travel to be onsite with clients as needed, up to 50% of the time

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage time, negotiate for solutions, manage project risks.
• Communication experience that enables goal setting, problem solving, setting expectations, and coordination/facilitation
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel), web applications
• Demonstrable technical acumen required to learn, understand, and use Teleosoft products, database relationships, and configurations
• Preferred education and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field
  • 3 plus years of project management or related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
