Teleion is looking a motivated individual looking for a new opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service for a client facing Supplier Relationship Management team. This individual will assist in projects such as the development of the client’s supplier database/supplier relationship management tool, analyze and implement global spend optimization projects, and track and help govern cost savings. They will also manage ongoing administrative and operational tasks such as supporting supplier diversity project management, tracking and reporting on supplier cost savings initiatives, and maintaining segment information in a supplier database.

This individual is able to prioritize work, solve issues and take initiative in a fast pace environment with minimum supervision and can work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support improvements of the customer experience for the Supplier Relationship Management team
  • Organizing and developing supplier database and relationship management tools.
  • Reporting, tracking, and help govern on cost savings
  • Analyze spend optimization

Key Skills:

  • Experience with Supplier Relationship Management Tools or Databases, and Project Management tools
  • Creating reports and dashboards
  • Being able to take ownership of projects with attention to detail and follow through.
  • Fluency with process mapping, documenting workflows, and writing Standard Operating Procedures

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in procurement or supplier performance
  • Intermediate data analysis skills with Excel Pivot Tables, SmartSheet, and/or Business Intelligence tools
  • Experience providing excellent customer service within a professional setting
  • Ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced, high volume, environment, with minimal supervision
  • Takes initiative to pursue solutions, drive tasks to completion, and close communication loops
  • Maintains a level of curiosity and assists team members with ad hoc tasks
  • Ability to effectively listen, write and communicate with a high level of attention to detail
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external clients
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word
