Telegraph Creative is Hiring a Graphic Design Intern Near Birmingham, AL
Telegraph is seeking a Design Intern who can work directly with the existing Creative team, work on multiple projects at a time, ensure these projects meet or exceed internal & client expectations and are delivered on-time. Impeccable communication and organizational abilities are a prerequisite for consideration.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to brand guidelines and complete projects according to the deadline
- Explore your skills in the Adobe Creative Suite and work with a variety of media
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop design concepts
- See projects through from conception to completion
- Be an active member of our creative team, attend internal and client meetings
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
- College graduate or 1 years of experience designing for brands in-house or at an agency.
Intermediate design skills with a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- After Effects (is a plus)
- Can think conceptually about how to visually support a product or service in an original, imaginative, and attention-grabbing way
- Provide portfolio of current graphic design work
OTHER NOTES:
- Experience with motion graphics and video production
- Experience using project management platforms (ie. ClickUp)
- Knowledge and interest in photography/videography
- Experience with Sketch and Figma is a plus
