Teledyne Microwave Solutions is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Torrance, CA

Teledyne Reynolds (a business unit of Teledyne Defense Electronics, LLC) has over 70 years of heritage supplying the highest quality, high voltage interconnect solutions to the most demanding of applications in the Military/Defense, High-end Industrial, Medical, Energy and Space industries.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to join our team. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for managing all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Effectively convert confirmed customer orders into cash, while consistently meeting or beating commitments to customers and the corporation in terms of schedule, performance, and COGS
  • Identify, analyze, and sustainably improve operational execution/predictability in those areas that are deemed most critical to maximizing business growth & profitability
  • Develop, define, and refine manufacturing systems & processes to support business strategy and consistently execute at desired levels
  • Ensure the factory floor is consistently clean, well-organized, and easily understood by those who work here and those who visit
  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, and develop operations staff in ways that create maximum competitive advantage for the business
  • Be an effective member of the Reynolds management team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university
  • Seven (7) years related experience overseeing Operations in a Manufacturing environment
  • Proficient experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills

Salary range: $180k - $195

Pay Transparency: The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $149,600.00 - $199,980.00 per year
