Job Summary :
Under general supervision, the Manufacturing Technician will perform a variety of electronic, mechanical and test functions following written Standard Operating Procedures and verbal instructions as part of the Teledyne FLIR manufacturing team.
Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience and instrumentation repair are required. Good organizational and relevant computer skills (i.
e. Microsoft Office) are needed for maintaining production records.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities :
Assemble mechanical parts and electronic components following manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, process documents, travelers, etc.
into sub-units and complete units.
Job Qualifications :
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.
S. Departments of State or Commerce.
