Access Control and Video Surveillance Technician

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, skilled individuals for employment in access control and video surveillance installation and service roles. If you have at least 2 years of experience and expertise in these areas, along with a strong understanding of networks, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of access control systems, integrating them with existing network infrastructure.
• Installation, setup, and maintenance of video surveillance systems, ensuring seamless integration with network components.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with access control and video surveillance equipment, including network-related issues.
• Collaborating with network engineers and IT teams to optimize system performance and security.
• Providing excellent customer service and support.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in access control and/or video surveillance installation and service.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and protocols.
• Proficiency with relevant tools, equipment, and network devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing network-related issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or training in networking are a plus.
• Knowledge of building and fire codes.
• Occasional travel required.
• Being part of an on-call rotation.
• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid SC driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.83 - $25.16 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
