Tele-Consultants, Inc. is Hiring a Qualified Navy Validator - FQNV with Security Clearance - Now Hiring Near Newport, RI

Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is seeking a Fully Qualified Navy Validator (FQNV) to join our team in Newport, RI. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Provide technical, analytical, administrative and operational support for engagement between the Science and Technology (S&T), Research & Development (R&D), and acquisition communities;
• Assist in performing the activities required within the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to obtain the Authorization to Operate (ATO)
• Develop RMF accreditation packages using current accreditation methods;
• Serve as Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) Validator responsible for performing a compliance review and analysis of cybersecurity requirements;
• Participate in the annual cybersecurity review;
• Participate in the reporting of electronic spillages, due to the inadvertent disclosure of classified information and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), to the Team Submarine Assistant Security Manager (ASM);
• Provide direct expertise and assistance to the Information Assurance (IA) Manager, as requested, to ensure that cybersecurity is fully integrated;
• Ensure that all Contractor personnel performing cybersecurity function possess and sustain the certifications and credentials required of the Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF)/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF).
Required Skills: • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and experience with Interim Authority To Test (IATT);
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Highly skilled in MS Office suite programs, including MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Project;
• Must be able to operate independently, but also in a team environment and share information with others;
• Must show initiative and have the ability to work on multiple tasks with changing deadlines and priorities in and environment with frequent interruptions;
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and flexibility are required; the ability to establish a solid working relationship with customers, technical staff, managers, and peers, and various Government and contractor personnel;
• Must be highly motivated and have excellent problem-solving skills. Education and Experience: • Required: o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a technical or managerial related field;
o 3 or more years of experience with RDT&E and Business IT systems and the phases of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process;
o Qualification as a Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) as defined by DoD Instruction 8510.01 – Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT);
• Desired, but not required: o 5 or more years of experience with an Information Assurance (IA) or C&A related field;
o Familiarity with and understanding of Navy IT sites, systems and infrastructure;
o Experience working with Navy C&A efforts as a Navy Validator;
o Demonstrated oral and written communication skills to work closely with all levels of personnel involved in IT operations and technical aspects of systems. Secret to Top Secret/SCI required The primary location for performance of the work will be at Newport, RI with occasional travel required.
