Position Overview

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for managing day-to-day operations concerning order fulfillment and personnel supporting these functions in the warehouse. Responsible for filling customer orders, preparing hardware for configuration, and delivering orders into staging, packing, and/or shipping. Responsible for order completeness and inventory accuracy.

Primary Duties Include

• Act as an example of Telaid Core values. Train and direct Warehouse Associates to ensure that all orders and tasks assigned are processed correctly.
• Assist in addressing any problem areas in production: shipping, picking, pulling, boxing and quality control processes to ensure that all orders are processed correctly. Escalate problems when necessary to ensure orders are correct and delivered on time.
• Verify outgoing shipments; confirm that items and quantities shipping match the pick tickets and allocated inventory. Pursue corrective action of discrepancies as needed.
• Process active orders being conscious of shipping priority and correct allocation of material.
• Pack and palletize material in a manner the reduces damage, loss and shipping cost.
• Conduct physical inventories and maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate outgoing freight shipments with the LTL carrier, document all freight shipments and ensure BOL numbers are correctly updated in the system.
• Follow shipping instructions specified by the customer and process shipments using integrated software.

Requirements

• Ability to follow all safety guidelines.
• Must pass the required pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Will be required to provide three supervisory references.

Education and Training

• High School or equivalent education
• 1 years of warehouse experience
• 2 years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Forklift experience (stand up is a plus)
• Prior experience using an Inventory Management System
• Prior knowledge of the telecommunications field is a plus.
