Job Description

• Client’s Safety Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated CW Safety Analyst.
• The primary responsibility of this role is to support the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) program, Safety KPI (Key Performance Indicator) program, CHIPS program, and lead Safety Month activities.
• Reporting to the Operations Safety Manager, the person in this role will support the Safety department's objective to provide a safe work environment and ensure each person works safely through clear safety standards, training, and audits.

This position will manage:

• On Floor Audits and Inspections
• Meet with key 2nd shift members to enhance Safety Culture and Safety Presence
• Managing assigned safety program budget items
• Attend 2nd Shift Safety Walks and Meetings
• Leading CHIPS (pedestrian safety) program
• Act on 2nd Shift Safety concerns which may lead to long term projects
• Utilize Problem Solving skills to enhance compliance on 2nd shift

Requirements:

• This position requires driving.
• A motor vehicle record that’s acceptable by company standards is required for this position
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs (ie. Excel, PowerPoint)
• Regulatory safety experience with a demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, ANSI and NFPA safety requirements
• Experience with safety awareness (policy development & implementation, safety investigation, reporting, database management and risk assessment)

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
